About Us

REM North Star, Inc. regional office is in Bemidji, MN with local offices in Crookston and Moorhead. Numerous counties are served through these 3 offices; Beltrami, Hubbard, Cass, Itasca, Koochiching, as well as, Clay, Polk, Norman, Kittson, Roseau and Pennington. Other counties are served through host county concurrence arrangements. Individuals living with brain injury and other cognitive impairments, mental health issues, intellectual developmental disability (including autism spectrum disorder) and physical disabilities with complex medical needs receive individualized high quality services meeting their unique needs. Funding for services is generally provided through county waivers (CADI, MR/RC, TBI NF, TBI NB, EW), workers compensation, private pay or other insurance. Innovative programming includes a DBT Supportive Residence (Oak Ridge) in Bemidji, MN. Other programming includes ICF/MR sites, Community Supportive Living homes (24/7 care) and In-Home Hourly Support services.
